At The Classic Motor Hub we regularly get some stunning motors into stock, but this December has been particularly special. We’re delighted to now be offering a 1992 Ferrari F40, 1970 Porsche 911 E and a 1963 VW Split Screen Camper for sale at The Hub. Keep on reading to find out more about these rather special machines.
We are incredibly excited to welcome what many will consider tantamount to automotive pornography – a 1992 Ferrari F40. This particularly lovely example is one of just 58 UK-delivered examples with the catalytic converter fitted.
This car has covered just 6800 miles from new and also features fully adjustable suspension, making it perfect for the road or track. Power is delivered by a 2936cc twin IHI Turbo charged, DOHC 32-valve V8, utilising a water-cooled heat exchanger, Weber-Marelli electronic injection and ignition allowing a peak power output of 478hp at 7000rpm, which is an incredible 162hp per litre!
If you’re looking for the ultimate driving machine, the F40 is it – if you can tame it. Currently offered for sale through Cotswold Collectors Cars at The Classic Motor Hub, and available for immediate inspection.
The next car to arrive at The Classic Motor Hub is something entirely different, but equally as cool – a 1963 Volkswagen Split Screen Camper Van. This beautiful example has been fully restored inside and out by Brookside Aircooled VW Specialists and VanWurks, and is ready to take on a road-trip, weekend away or voyage of a lifetime.
This eye-catching Split Screen Camper is in excellent condition, and combines the best of modern reliability with fantastic period looks, whilst providing a wonderful combination of comfort and up-to-date technology. The specification includes a built-in fridge, two-ring hob, sink, “Rock & Roll” fold out bed, picnic table (which stores in the roof), up-rated Blaupunkt stereo system and a full alarm system.
The last car to let you know about is a superb early Porsche 911. This particularly clean Californian-delivered 1970 911 E 2.2 Coupe has the factory-correct colour combination of White Ivory paint with a black interior, and is powered by a 2.2 litre engine that produces 153hp through a 5-speed manual 901 gearbox.
This lovely Porsche 911 E is number 282 of 1304 built and remains in excellent condition with original floor pans and front suspension. This 911 represents superb value in today’s market and is an excellent 911 for any enthusiast. It comes complete with, tools, Jack, manual and warranty book from the documented first owner.
That’s it for this year, but do check back on the blog again soon to read our latest road tests or news of our latest stock.
