Here at The Classic Motor Hub we regularly deal in some beautiful motors, and today is no exception – we’ve seen some incredible machines both arrive and leave The Hub. Inbound is a 1988 Ferrari Testarossa, whilst leaving us is a 1964 AC Cobra 289 – two classic cars with similar capacity engines, but that are hugely different machines – we think you’ll agree.
The AC Cobra 289 leaving us today houses a 4.8 litre small-block Ford V8 and is a fine example of one of the last models to bear the Cobra name before AC sold the rights to Ford in 1965. If you’re looking for a similar machine for your own collection, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Coming into The Hub today is an unmistakable example of late 80s Italian style and the Pininfarina-designed successor to the Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer: a 1988 Ferrari Testarossa. With a name that pays hommage to the 1957 World Sportscar Championship-winning 250 Testa Rossa, this Testarossa sports a 4.9-litre flat-12 mid-mounted engine that’s good for 390HP – an incredible amount of power, even by today’s standards. This example is available for immediate inspection at The Classic Motor Hub and is offered for sale in superb condition with a low 13,000 miles from new.
Of course there’s always much more happening at The Classic Motor Hub – these are just two examples of the kind of classic cars we regularly deal with. If you’d like to see more, why not come along to our idyllic setting in rural Gloucestershire, or take a look at the other cars available in our online showroom.
