François Bazin was a sculptor and aviator in the 1920s. He created some of the most prestigious vintage car hood ornament sculptures and mascots such as The Stork of Hispano Suiza, The Croisiere Noire of Citroën, The Triumph of Isotta Fraschini and the Centaur of Unic.
As a tribute to the artist, granddaughter Julie Bazin has – for the first time – produced numbered limited edition bronze hood ornament sculptures of his most iconic mascots. This primary series were cast by French art foundries, which have won a ‘Living Heritage Enterprises’ label.
