If you’ve ever visited The Hub for one of our events or simply to see our showrooms, you’ll know that whilst 4-wheels are our main focus we are also deeply passionate about classic, vintage and unusual performance motorcycles.
This year we are holding the very first charity Ride It Day event at The Classic Motor Hub on Saturday 16th May between 10am and 3pm. Much like our extremely popular Coffee & Classics events we’ll have live music, but because of the longer opening hours on a Saturday, we’ll be serving our barista coffee all day, as well as breakfast until 12pm and burgers thereafter (yes, we’ll have veggie options!).
As well as room for over 1,000 motorcycles here at the former site of RAF Bibury in Gloucestershire, we have a number of special guests already signed up, some interesting displays planned and a number of spaces available for Motorcycle clubs, with many already on board and agreeing to take a place at the show in return for a charity donation. If you’re a member of a club that you think may be interested in having a pitch, be sure to get in touch.
In addition to the wide variety of motorcycles we anticipate will be joining us, there’s full access to our award-winning showrooms and a historic on-site private collection, whilst our Hub Coffee House and Shop is stocked with a great selection of automotive gifts and memorabilia. There’s always something exciting to see and plenty of conversation to be had with like-minded folk over a coffee, slice of cake or a something from the Hub Grub Kitchen.
Whilst the main purpose of this event is for riders to get out and use their classic, vintage and high-performance motorcycles on a lovely May day, we are also hoping that with your help we can raise a great deal for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, who will be in attendance. As a biker, you will no doubt appreciate that the air ambulance is vital in providing a rapid response to accidents involving bikers, so it is imperative that the motorcycle community continue to support them. As such, a minimum of £3 from each ticket sale will go directly to the charity, in addition to the fundraising activities on the day!
Attendance for ALL visitors is strictly by pre-registration only as parking space at The Hub is limited; if you would like to come along on Ride It Day please reserve your space for free! Start by telling us the year, make, model and registration of your motorcycle in the boxes above, then click ‘add to cart’ and complete the checkout process to submit your order.
Registration is only open to owners of classic, vintage and high-performance motorcycles. If you are not the owner of a suitable vehicle, we welcome you to visit The Classic Motor Hub on another Saturday, when our showrooms, Hub Coffee House and Shop are open to all between 10am and 3pm.
If you have any queries about registering or attending Ride It Day, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a ticketless event. Attendees will be registered upon arrival using their motorcycle’s registration plate.
