On August the 11th 1960 a dark blue, all-aluminium Ferrari 250 GT short wheelbase Berlinetta Competizione left Maranello on its way to Rob Walker, whose team would go on to run the car at Goodwood in the RAC Tourist Trophy race later that month. This legendary 250 GT Short Wheelbase (known by its chassis number of 2119 GT) is the very same car Sir Stirling Moss won in three times, and Mike Parkes another three.
After the 1961 season, 2119GT disappeared into private ownership for over three decades, and was next seen in public at Goodwood at the inaugural Festival of Speed in 1993 where it has become a frequent visitor. It is now owned by motorsport maestro Ross Brawn and is often shown at festivals such as Goodwood Revival.
Omologato hand crafted this magnificent Berlinetta Chronograph to emulate the dials used in this period of race car. The back has been engraved with the now legendary chassis number, Sir Stirling Moss and the Goodwood Trophy Cup this car was famous for winning.
Berlinetta Chronograph is LIMITED TO 100 PIECES
