Lamborghini Miura – Monte Carlo, Casino Square

£420.00

Artist: Charles Avalon

Numero Uno: The legendary Miura started the trend of high performance, two-seater, mid-engined sports cars. Imaginatively depicted by Avalon is Miura number one, which was parked on the Place du Casino during the 1966 Monaco F1 week. The car shares its name with the fierce fighting bulls from Seville and according to Ferruccio Lamborghini “is for the keenest sporting driver who wants the ultimate in looks and performance”. Immortalised in the opening sequence of ‘The Italian Job’, the Miura is considered by many to be the most beautiful car ever built.
